The Find a Model network is looking for 'the face' to launch our new advertising campaign. We are looking for new talent that has not previously worked as a professional model to appear as the new face of the website, on our marketing material, and in any campaign material we prepare for a full year. To apply for this please send a head shot to theface2009@findamodel.net with a short description of yourself, what you think would be your ideal modelling career, and in your own words why you think you should win the competition. Applications must be received by the 5th April 2009 to be considered, so start sending your photographs now!

We are of course challenging this, but until then please re-apply to be sure your entry is counted.

The successful applicant will be invited to one or more shoots with photographer and founder of Find a Model, Graham Guy, to shoot all the images that will be used for the Find a Model material throughout the following year. When published the model will be visibly credited in all images and so will receive significant publicity to help them start their chosen modelling career. Places where the marketing material will be displayed include:

• Film festivals, including the Cannes Festival 2009
• Online on the web site
• All marketing links to Find a Model (see our links for examples)
• Fashion festivals
• ... and much more

Entry into the search for The Face is open to UK residents (or those prepared to travel to the UK at their own cost for the shoot should they win) who have not previously had any form of modelling contract and are not currently represented by an agent.
