How much does it cost to register?

A standard account on Find a Model is free and will give you access to a fully functional set of features for as long as you keep your account active. Premium membership allows you to upload additional photographs, maintain a list of online credits, and your account will be returned first in any searches made that match your profile. Premium membership costs from £4.99 per month and you can upgrade at any time through your account settings form.

I have registered... now what?

Once you have registered on Find a Model you must complete your profile in order for it to appear in search results. This includes:

• Addding a profile picture
• Updating your profile details
• Stating the sort of work you will undertake

You will not be included in search results if you do not complete these steps.

Please note that your 'headline' and 'about me' sections must be full and informative or your account will not be approved. This is to avoid the database becoming full of 'passers by' who register but have no real intention of using the service.

What can I have in my profile?

When completing your profile information it is important to bear in mind the following:

• Your Profile picture must be representative of you (models), your work (photographers, make-up) or the location you are representing (locations). It is the first impression that viewers will get of you and so it is important to make the right impression.
  Note: Your profile picture cannot contain any nudity. If you want to upload any pictures containing nudity you must upgrade to Premium membership and upload them to the 'additional pictures' section.
• Your Headline and About Me sections must be complete and descriptive. One line descriptions such as "Hello" or "I am a model" will not be accepted. As previously mentioned this is to avoid the database becoming full of time wasters who register but have no real intention of using the service.
• Be sure to state the sort of work you will undertake using the 'edit work type' page

I registered but I can't log in

After you have registered, our server will send you an email containing a link - you must click on the link o activate your account. If you have not received the email, first check your spam folder for an email from 'noreply@findamodel.net' as it can sometimes get marked as junk mail. If you have not received this email anywhere within an hour or so from registering then please contact us and we will look into it.

My profile doesn't appear in a search

In order to appear in general searches you must have a profile picture uploaded, and have completed the sections listed above. This is to prevent search results from being diluted with entries that are of no use to people searching. The picture does not have to be a professional shot, just something representative of you so that people searching get some idea of what you or your work looks like.
